Peter Scott's previous research interests included experimental work on optical and microwave aspects of impurity
ions in crystals, and work on nonlinear dynamical systems, especially those exhibiting chaotic behavior, such as dripping
faucets, other systems involving fluids, and various types of mechanical systems.

Currently he's working on revising notes he wrote with William Burke on Special Relativity (the "Special Relativity Primer")
that were used extensively in various undergraduate physics courses, and in making available a number of songs that were
sung in a number of courses and elsewhere. See his website for more details.
