Here are the lyrics and a basic score (mud.pdf) for
"Don't Get Mud on the Carpet", a little song we
wrote in 1996 shortly after the Physics Board moved
into Kerr Hall from Nat Sci 2.  The tune is a
familiar one---"The Wreck of the Old 97", which some
may also know as "The MTA Song".  Some text that
describes the motivation for writing the song is
also included.

Also here is a recording, with myself singing it
while strumming my banjo (mud.mp3).  It would be
better to have made a recording featuring a bunch
of us singing it, but I have yet to accomplish that.
