The question we would like to address in this POW is this: for a one-dimensional system consisting of two, identical relatively shallow square-wells, how does the kinetic energy of the ground state depend on the separation, s, between the wells. (You can use delta-functions if you insist, but be warned that you have to calculate p**2 carefully around the discontinuity.)

Your results should include a plot of < T > vs s. Which might be obtained from exact caluclations in limiting regimes, and informed interpolation. It would also be nice if you can do the same for < V > and for the total energy E.
Discussion of when < T > is lowest, highest, etc., and an explanation of why may be interesting...
